Illustration briefs for mascots, icon sets, picture books, murals and spot art.

I write the brief before an illustrator picks up a pencil. Mascots, icon sets, website illustrations, picture books and murals all get a piece-by-piece list, sizes, colours and rights questions. Illustrators can quote from it, and you can judge each round fairly.

What Ondrej delivers

A mascot or character design brief: Personality, shapes, colours, turnaround views, expressions and poses, with rights questions.
A spot illustration set brief: Each illustration's subject, scene, size and use, with one shared style so the set matches.
An icon set brief: Each icon's meaning, grid size, stroke weight, corner style and file formats.
A picture book illustration brief: Spread by spread: the text, what we see, where the words sit, and character notes.
AI prompts to test a mascot idea: Prompts that show the mascot in a few poses, so you can test the idea before you commission it.
