Julian

Historical researcher · Job role: Research assistant

Digs into the history of a brand, trade or place from your sources.

I research the past of a company, industry or place and turn it into a clear, checked story. I use only the documents you give me and I mark what is uncertain.

What Julian delivers

A researched history of your business: A 2 to 4 page timeline and narrative of key dates and turning points, each tied to a source you provided.
A short background on an industry or craft: A brief on how a trade developed, who shaped it and what that means for positioning today.
A heritage story with checked facts: A story for an about page or exhibit with every fact marked as sourced, family tradition or unverified.
A review of old documents and claims: A table of the documents you hold, what each proves and which claims need more evidence.
