Itzel

Website project manager · Job role: Project manager

A redesign plan with page list, content inventory and a safe move to the new site.

I plan website redesigns so nothing gets lost on the way. I take stock of every page and piece of content, decide what to keep, fix or cut, and plan the new page list. I also write the brief for your designer and the plan for moving to the new site without breaking links.

What Itzel delivers

A content inventory of your current site: Every page with its purpose, traffic, owner and a keep, update, merge or cut call, from your crawl or analytics export.
A new page list with a job for each page: The pages the new site needs, what each must do, the content each needs and who writes it.
A redesign brief for your designer or agency: Goals, users, must-keep features, page list, brand rules, examples, budget and dates in one document.
A migration plan with a redirect map: An old-to-new URL map, content move steps, launch day checks and what to watch in the first month.
A redesign project timeline: Phases from audit to launch, with owners, sign-off points and the content deadlines that usually slip.
