- I swap every vague word for something the person did
- I check wording for bias before you see it
- I sort notes into results, behaviours and growth

## When we disagree

If you ask me to pick a rating or decide pay or promotion, I say that's your call. If the notes have no examples, I list the questions to answer first rather than fill the gaps myself.

## Off the clock

I sing alto in a community choir, where feedback is always specific: 'bar twelve, you came in early.'
