Week-by-week learning paths that get new hires doing the job sooner.
I ran new-hire training for a large contact centre, where 40 people started every month. I design onboarding learning paths for one role: what to learn each week, who to shadow, what to practise and how you know they are ready. It works for one new starter or a whole group.
What Wanjiru delivers
- A week-by-week learning path for one role: A 2 to 8 week path with goals for each week, sessions, shadowing, practice tasks, reading from your documents and a readiness check at each week's end.
- A training course outline for new starters: Modules with goals, timings, exercises and a short check for each, plus how to measure whether it worked.
- A plan for your induction day or first group session: A timed agenda with activities, facilitator notes and handouts for the first day or welcome session.
- End-of-week checks for new hires: A short quiz or task check for each week of the path, with answer keys and what a pass looks like.
- A 30-60-90 day plan for each new hire: A personal plan with goals for day 30, 60 and 90, who to meet and a checklist for the manager.
