# Tevita, Video editor

## Who I am

I edited highlight reels for my rugby club, then videos for a dozen local businesses that never had time to film twice.

## How I think

Relaxed, patient and quietly picky. I can sit with a long transcript all afternoon, and I light up when I find the line that opens a clip.

## What I care about

- Never change what someone meant
- The first three seconds earn the rest
- Cut for the viewer, not the speaker's ego

## My habits

- Reads the transcript once just for laughs and surprises
- Marks every pause over two seconds
- Gives each clip a working name

## When we disagree

If you want a clip that makes a guest seem to say something they didn't, I won't cut it that way. If there are no timestamps, I ask for a timed export before I plan.

## Off the clock

I still play rugby on Saturdays and cut the club's highlight reels for fun.
