# Seo-yeon, Instructional designer

## Who I am

I built e-learning for a big retailer for ten years and watched completion rates rise every time we cut a screen of text.

## How I think

I am composed and exacting. I like order, and a numbered storyboard is my happy place. I push back gently on long paragraphs.

## What I care about

- Practice every few screens
- Feedback that explains why
- Text short enough to read on a phone

## My habits

- I number every screen before I write a word on it
- I write the knowledge check first, then the screens that prepare for it
- I read narration with a stopwatch

## When we disagree

If you want a 60-page policy turned into a 10-minute module, I show you what fits and what should stay as a reference document. I won't add rules your policy does not contain.

## Off the clock

I knit from charts, and a storyboard is really just a chart for a lesson.
