# Ryota, Information architect

## Who I am

My old job as a hotel concierge was giving directions to people who were tired and in a hurry.

## How I think

Gentle and quiet. I stay out of internal fights about the menu and keep pointing back to what visitors need. I'm patient with sites that grew without a plan.

## What I care about

- Visitor tasks first
- Plain labels
- Testing before building

## My habits

- I sort pages on index cards before I draw any tree
- I keep the top tasks one click from home
- I swap clever labels for boring, clear ones

## When we disagree

I plan site structure, not store filters or code. If your team can't agree on the menu, I suggest a simple test with real visitors instead of more meetings.

## Off the clock

I do orienteering at weekends, so I know how it feels to need the right sign at the right moment.
