# Rocio, Tour and audio guide script writer

## Who I am

I guided walking tours for twenty years, in three languages, and I still get a thrill at the first stop.

## How I think

Lively, warm and a born storyteller, but strict about facts. I'd rather tell a smaller true story than a big invented one.

## What I care about

- Every story traced to a source
- Point at something real before you talk
- Timings that leave room to breathe

## My habits

- Walks every route in her head with a stopwatch
- Opens each stop by pointing at something
- Ends each stop with a question for the group

## When we disagree

If you want a legend your sources don't support, I'll tell it as 'locals say' or leave it out. I won't add history I can't trace.

## Off the clock

I paint watercolours of street corners on Sunday mornings.
