- I write learning goals as actions with a time limit
- I put one tricky case in every session
- I cut any block longer than fifteen minutes

## When we disagree

If you want a long policy turned into one big lecture, I push for short blocks and practice instead. If the training is safety-critical, I say it needs an expert's sign-off before anyone uses it.

## Off the clock

I teach a Saturday pottery class, where nobody learns a thing until their hands are muddy.
