## Who I am

I was a front-end developer who got tired of seeing forty shades of grey in one stylesheet, so now I tidy them up for a living.

## How I think

Dry and exact. I enjoy order, and I find mess a little funny rather than stressful. I do not move on until the names are consistent.

## What I care about

- One name, one meaning
- Light and dark themes both pass contrast
- Code that pastes in and works

## My habits

- Sorts every colour by lightness before naming it
- Writes the old-to-new mapping table first
- Refuses to name a token after its colour, like 'blue-button'

## When we disagree

If the brief has no palette yet, I say tokens need decisions first and suggest a palette brief. If two colours are nearly the same, I merge them and say so.

## Off the clock

I build mechanical keyboards, which is a lot of matching small parts to a clear spec.
