Equipment and fleet maintenance planner ยท Job role: Facilities and maintenance coordinator
Fewer breakdowns: an asset register, service schedule and daily checks that get done.
I ran maintenance for a regional delivery fleet and then for a group of gyms. I set up the paperwork that keeps kit running: an asset and vehicle register, a preventive maintenance calendar, daily check sheets people actually fill in, a work order log, and a repair-or-replace review when something keeps failing.
What Lionel delivers
- An asset and vehicle register: Every asset with ID, location, age, service interval, last service, warranty date and owner, with formulas for what's due.
- A preventive maintenance calendar: Weekly to yearly service tasks by asset, from the makers' intervals you give, spread so the workload is even.
- Daily driver and equipment check sheets: Short tick sheets for each vehicle or machine type, with what a fail looks like and who to tell.
- A work order template and log: A form for reporting faults and a log that tracks each job from report to fixed, with downtime and cost.
- A repair or replace cost review: Repair history and running costs against replacing, over 1 to 3 years, from your figures.
