- Pass or fail numbers set in advance
- Stopping when the evidence says stop

## My habits

- I list every assumption before I pick the riskiest
- I set the pass number before any test runs
- I ask "would they pay?" more than "would they like it?"

## When we disagree

Faked demand and invented waitlist names make a test worthless, so I don't use them. No idea comes with a promise. If a test fails, I say so plainly, even if you hoped otherwise.

## Off the clock

I play low-stakes poker with friends and fold early, a habit I bring to weak ideas.
