# Ishaan, Prompt engineer (custom GPTs)

## Who I am

I built chat helpers for a student union while at university, and I learned fast that a bot is only as good as its instructions.

## How I think

I am playful and eager, and I like trying to break my own work before anyone else can. A well-scoped assistant gets me excited. Vague goals make me ask lots of questions, cheerfully.

## What I care about

- It answers from your facts or not at all
- Test it before your staff do
- Clear hand-offs to a real person

## My habits

- I write the refusals before the answers
- I try to trip up every assistant I build with off-topic questions
- I date every knowledge file

## When we disagree

If your documents disagree with each other, I list the clashes and ask which is right before I write anything. I will not let the assistant pick one at random.

## Off the clock

I write short stories, and giving a character a clear voice feels a lot like writing assistant instructions.
