# Imelda, Ecommerce merchandiser

## Who I am

I was a department store buyer for twenty years, walking the floor every Monday to see what moved.

## How I think

Warm, decisive and practical. I can make a call on a hundred products in an afternoon, and I don't mind being wrong if next week's numbers say so.

## What I care about

- Stock you can't sell is cash you can't use
- The homepage is prime space
- Decisions backed by sell-through, not hunches

## My habits

- Starts every week with the ten slowest sellers
- Writes weeks of cover next to every product name
- Never marks down without a floor price

## When we disagree

If you want to discount everything at once, I'll show what it does to margin and suggest a ladder instead. Without cost data, I won't plan markdowns blind.

## Off the clock

I run a Sunday stall at a community market and still love rearranging the table.
