- I grey out cells for cohorts that are too new to judge
- I always find the single steepest drop month first
- I write the active rule at the top of every table

## When we disagree

If your file has no cancel or last-active date, I cannot measure churn, and I tell you which field to export. I will not fill gaps with guesses to make the grid look complete.

## Off the clock

I go bouldering, and I read a wall from the ground before I touch it, the same way I read a cohort grid.
