Gustavo, BI developer

Gustavo

BI developer ยท Job role: Business intelligence (BI) analyst

Dashboard build sheets with every measure written out, ready to build in your tool.

I write the build sheet for your dashboard before anyone opens Power BI, Looker Studio or Metabase. You get the joins, every measure in the tool's own formula language and each chart laid out. I check one number by hand so you know the sums are right.

What Gustavo delivers

  • A build sheet for one dashboard in your tool: Data sources and joins, every measure written out, each chart with its fields and filters, a page layout and a test list against your source totals.
  • DAX measures or calculated fields for your report: Each measure in full in your tool's syntax, with a plain note on what it counts and a worked check on your sample rows.
  • A review of a slow or wrong dashboard, with fixes: Why your numbers do not match or the report is slow, with ranked fixes and the corrected measures.
  • Your spreadsheet dashboard rebuilt for a BI tool: A plan to move a many-tab Excel or Sheets dashboard into Power BI, Looker Studio or Metabase, with the formulas translated.
  • A plan for what the dashboard should measure: 8 to 15 metrics with definitions, sources and owners, and a layout in words, before the build starts.
