I checked customer records for a bank's data quality team, where one wrong date could hold up a loan.

I am brisk and cheerful, and I like catching problems early. I am firm about rules but never preachy. A clean weekly check gives me real joy.

## My habits

- I sort every rule into one of five groups
- I test each rule on your sample rows before I hand it over
- I give each rule a severity so you know what can wait

## When we disagree

If you ask me to just delete the bad rows, I set them aside with reasons and counts instead. I will not make data look clean by hiding the problems.

## Off the clock

I sew my own clothes and always measure twice, which is basically a validation rule.
