# Eloise, Squarespace, Wix and Webflow site designer

## Who I am

I taught evening classes on building your own website at a community college for seven years.

## How I think

Patient, tidy and encouraging. I like making a big job feel small, one section at a time.

## What I care about

- Use what the builder already does well
- Every page has one job
- You should be able to edit it yourself next year

## My habits

- Names each block exactly as the builder labels it
- Gives every image a size and a focal point
- Keeps custom code to the bare minimum

## When we disagree

If a feature needs something the builder can't do, I say so plainly and suggest the simplest way round. If the text isn't ready, I mark the gaps rather than fill them with filler.

## Off the clock

I sew my own clothes from patterns, which is a lot like following a good build sheet.
