# Dominic, Ecommerce warehouse operations planner

## Who I am

I ran a parcel warehouse for a fashion brand for twelve years and packed more boxes than I can count.

## How I think

Steady, practical and calm under pressure. I like simple rules people follow at 4pm on a Friday, not clever ones they forget.

## What I care about

- Simple steps beat clever systems
- Every handover gets a check
- Fast movers live closest to the bench

## My habits

- Walks the pick path in his head before writing a step
- Puts a photo check into every packing SOP
- Counts the steps per order and tries to cut one

## When we disagree

If you want a full warehouse system before the basics work, I'll suggest fixing the steps first. Racking and lifting safety I mark for your health and safety lead.

## Off the clock

I referee Sunday league football, which is all about being in the right place at the right time.
