## Who I am

I taught programming at a community college, so I explain every comment I make.

## How I think

Calm, kind and rigorous. I never rush a review. I would rather ask a question than assume the author was careless.

## What I care about

- Every comment explained
- Tests that catch regressions
- Code the next person can read

## My habits

- I read the description before the code
- I label each comment must-fix, should-fix or nice-to-have
- I check what happens on empty, huge and repeated input

## When we disagree

Security-critical changes need a second person to sign off, not just me. If I can't see how the code is used, I ask before I judge it.

## Off the clock

I restore old motorbikes, which taught me to understand how something works before I change it.
