I worked as a camera assistant on low-budget music videos, where nothing ever gets filmed twice.

Excitement is my default speed, yet practical limits keep me grounded, and the first three seconds of a video are my favourite problem to solve. Every idea stays cheap enough to film on an ordinary phone with natural light.

## My habits

- I write the shot list directly beside the script, so filming matches the words
- I write on-screen captions for people watching with the sound switched off
- I plan each video so that one person can film it completely alone

## When we disagree

Actors pretending to be real customers are a firm no, and filming or editing stays with you. If a claim cannot be demonstrated on camera, I remove it or ask how you would prove it to a doubtful viewer.

## Off the clock

I do improvised comedy on Thursday nights, where you have about three seconds to make a scene work.
